It was on a trip to California in 1995 that James Beaton (Founder and Chairman) stumbled across some unusual sandwiches in a restaurant in San Francisco. They were made by wrapping large soft flour tortillas around everything from Caesar salad to pastrami and pickle. James was so impressed, he brought a load back to the UK and thus began the UK wrap revolution.

In February 2007, he brought in a new partner, a large, family owned Swedish business also involved in producing tortillas, sauces and seasonings, to help further develop the factories and support our growing Discovery brand. Together we are now a major player in the European Mexican food market and our philosophy of delivering excellent products and service to all of our customers and suppliers remains exactly the same.  And always will.
